The Future of Education

Charting the Course of Teaching and Learning in a Networked World

Hallo there, SPACC stands for Springs Alive Childen’s Centre. The Centre accomodates all sorts of children i.e. those with parents, orphans, disabled, deafs, dumb, some who can afford to pay and those who cannot afford.

Our intentions are to see that all children in the community get access to education.

We handle children according to their way of life regardless of whether they do contribute anything or not.

90% of these children cannot afford to pay the $5 we ask from them per term which is 3 months, which is usually teacher’s expenses and sometimes keeps the school moving like buying chalk.

It is not so easy to teach miserable and hungry children moreover when you donot have any money in your pocket nontheless we try our best.

Though we donot have enough resources like money, classrooms and sometimes study under tree shades,we remain hopeful that one day the sun of grace will shine on us.

Most of our fellow teachers have run away given the tough way of survival we go through.

Surely there is a call for help to the teachers of SPACC for the sake of the innocent young ones at SPACC and the community at large.

Also limited scholarist materials is a big challenge.Teachers have to look for teaching materials elsewhere.Kindly save the children!!

Among the needed support include:

· Scholarist materials e.g.textbooks,furniture(class desks),sports eqipment etc

· More classrooms need to be built

· Teacher’s salaries

· Atleast a cup of porridge for each child at lunch time.

· Teacher’s meals

Dear our friends there, your contribution to SPACC will highly be appreciated,it would also do you a great deal of experience if you gave it a trial and visited us.

Best Regards;

SPACC STAFF MEMBERS

"The depth of your observations from last night is still resonating with me. I'm trying to think of another interview I've given where the questioner understood the material so well that he/she so regularly (and fluidly) went into new intellectual territory. I can't think of any. Pretty amazing. Thank you."
