Carol Broos Interview: How the Obama Administration Is Looking at School Reform

Carol Broos attended what was to have been U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan's first official meeting after the presidential inauguration. In preparation for the meeting, we'd asked this network the five questions about U.S. education that Carol had been asked to prepare to talk about in the meeting.

This live conversation with Carol will be a follow-up to that meeting. We'll ask Carol to tell us what happened in the meeting, what plans have been made, and what her general thoughts are about what is taking place in the new administration with regard to education. You can follow Carol at www.beatechie.com.

Sorry for the delay in getting the recording posted. Not sure why, but the audio/chat processing is locking up. I've posted the link to the full Elluminate session above, though!
OK! Got audio and chat recordings, and am posting now. Links above!

"The depth of your observations from last night is still resonating with me. I'm trying to think of another interview I've given where the questioner understood the material so well that he/she so regularly (and fluidly) went into new intellectual territory. I can't think of any. Pretty amazing. Thank you."
