Charting the Course of Teaching and Learning in a Networked World
As an artist/educator of thirty years, teaching at both secondary and tertiary levels I have been challenged to design learning environments which encourage divergent thinking: where novel ideas are valued; where students learn to overcome the fear of being wrong.
This is an example of providing an experience where young people engage in divergent 'WHAT IF?' kind of thinking within a fairly tight framework or script.
