I am a published writer and educator who is looking for ideas to improve instruction in the classroom. I have won awards in writing poetry, songs and plays in addition to writing documentaries, memoirs, children's literature and articles. I have a nominee for the pulitzer award 2013. I was a member of the Emmy's, Grammy's, The National Press Club, Black Women in Publishing, and Black Screenwriter's Association. I wish to help serve the community with insight and hope through what I write.
