The Kindersite is being used in 18,000 schools in 157 countries for EFL and ESL. It consists of Games, songs and stories suitable for early learners.

 

European Projects

Partner in 17 European Union funded educational projects with an expertise in dissemination and communications over the Internet. The projects are creating resources that can, in most cases, be used globally:

 

Lullabies from the Cradle - collected 35 Italian, Czech, Romanian, English, Greek, Turkish and Danish lullabies to stimulate language learning published in a book and CD. See all seven animated Videos http://www.youtube.com/group/Lullabies  http://www.lullabies-of-europe.org

 

aPLaNet (Autonomous PLN for language educators) – is answering the questions, what are PLNs, why educators should use them and building a system to mentor new comers in to the networks. http://aplanet-project.org/

 

Sun.com (new project) – building sustainable social and learning networks for less widely used and spoken European languages.

 

FolkDC (new project) – using folk songs in 10 European languages to motivate and inspire language learning in early language learners. Culminates in a simultaneous concert, streamed on the Internet, in 4 European locations.

 

EuroLib - The European Children’s Traveling Language Library, is a European Union funded project.Traveling libraries of the most beautifully illustrated children's books in six European languages will travel from school to school across Europe. http://www.eulib.eu

 

Web2.0ERC - European Union funded project is designed to help educators who find ICT confusing to have a simple and secure environment to use ICT in their work and in their classes.http://www.web20erc.eu/

 

eCLIL - eCLIL is European Union funded project to develop and build resources and a resource centre for the use of Content Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) http://e-clil.uws.ac.uk/

 

ARGuing project has built a methodology for language educators to use Web 2.0 technology to create and communicate. The project has constructed an Alternate Reality Game for international, multilingual, student, communities to motivate language learning. http://www.arg-education.eu

 

Chain Stories - The Chain Stories project is for students, in their first year of language learning, so that they can enjoy creative writing in their mother tongue. They then pass on their story to other schools with other languages, within a language family, for completion. http://www.chainstories.eu

 

The EduComic project has developed web based comics as an alternative instructional medium for learning about literacy and scientific concepts by writing, designing, and publishing original web comic books. - http://www.educomics.org/

 

Don't Give Up - http://dontgiveup.eu Too many adult language learners drop-out of language courses, the Dont Give Up project offers language schools, course designers and students 48 ways to learn a foreign language successfully. I am all day at a children's hospital today putting animalagentz in to a burns unit. We are using it to help with pain, fear and anxiety etc
But I should be free on Thursday.
