I am a soon-to-be BYU graduate in English. I am very interested in education and improving K-12 education in my area. Recently I have become very interested in badges as a way of accrediting all kinds of learning, and as a way of motivating students. Working with a local middle school English teacher, myself and a fellow BYU student designed a badge system to experiment with how badges might improve learning. Our project can be viewed online here: edbadges.blogspot.com.

"The depth of your observations from last night is still resonating with me. I'm trying to think of another interview I've given where the questioner understood the material so well that he/she so regularly (and fluidly) went into new intellectual territory. I can't think of any. Pretty amazing. Thank you."
