About Me
Hello All!
My name is Martin Cisneros. A native Californian who was born and raised in the Central Valley. I currently work for the Monterey COE as a Educational Technology Coordinator and ELL Resources Administrator. For the past few years I have served as a Regional Staff Development Coordinator for (TfL) Technology for Learning Partnership formerly known as CTAP (California Technology Assistance Project) Region 5. Prior to becoming Staff Development Coordinator for CTAP, I spent the last four years as a Professional Development Coordinator and Technology Integration Specialist for an elementary  school district (K-6) in Monterey County.

Over the past 15 years, I have had the opportunity to serve and implement a variety of programs within Southern California, San Joaquin Valley, and the Central Coast. Roles included: bilingual K-6 teacher, high school ELL instructor, K-6 bilingual resource teacher, special projects coordinator, after school curriculum coordinator, Director of Extended School Projects for the Coast Media Literacy Alliance Project with CSU Monterey Bay and city of Salinas, BTSA mentor, and assistant principal for a K-6 elementary school.

I have had several experiences working on various platforms and hybrid environments both for regional COE's and as a guest lecturer for the University of California Santa Cruz. I love all types of technology and use it on a daily basis in professional and personal life. I'm always in search of various ways to use the vast amount of tools, resources and systems that are now freely available through the internet.

Reviews

"The depth of your observations from last night is still resonating with me. I'm trying to think of another interview I've given where the questioner understood the material so well that he/she so regularly (and fluidly) went into new intellectual territory. I can't think of any. Pretty amazing. Thank you."
