About Me
I see myself as a global educator, who understands and appreciates both the business and nonprofit worlds, and sees the need for communication and collaboration across sectors. I am an avid player in the emerging field of ‘social entrepreneurship’, and passionate about furthering my understanding of how learning and teaching happens most effectively.

While I believe that culture and identity are very important, I am committed to building relationships across cultures, whether within my family (my wife is both from Brazil and the U.S. and my children are Costa Rican by birth) but also with my students, and friends.

Reviews

"The depth of your observations from last night is still resonating with me. I'm trying to think of another interview I've given where the questioner understood the material so well that he/she so regularly (and fluidly) went into new intellectual territory. I can't think of any. Pretty amazing. Thank you."
