About Me
I am a retired educator but love spending my time supporting teachers with the use of technology in their classrooms. I am a professional development consultant in Phoenix, Arizona, and have been a professional educator for over 40 years with many roles including principal, teacher, special education director and university pre-service teacher education instructor with Arizona State University/College of Teacher Education and Leadership (CTEL). I am one of the co-hosts for the weekly Classroom 2.0 LIVE webinar on Blackboard Collaborate which is dedicated to supporting teachers with resources and practical suggestions for incorporating Web 2.0 technologies into teaching and learning. I am a STAR Discovery Educator and am also actively involved in the EdTechTalk (ETT) community through weekly webcasts, past co-host for Women of the Web webcast, and was a co-editor of the weekly newsletter. I am also a member of the K12 Online Conference Organizer Team which is responsible for planning and hosting online events for educators. I am an active AzTEA member (AZ Technology in Education Association- ISTE Affiliate) where we have hosted two annual virtual technology conferences.
