Casual Use of Social Media Improves Productivity

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20090402/lf_nm_life/us_work_internetI'm really curious if this study could be repeated, with kids in school, to determine if all the rules schools are coming up with to forbid kids from chatting, tweeting,or anything else, is also wasteful.See More

Hi Stephanie,

Good luck in your career change. I started out in corporate advertising and now lead a non profit working to help inner city kids connect with tutors/mentors and learning resources that help them succeed in school. I encourage you to browse the T/MC web site and see how it combines my advertising experiences with the tutor/mentor goals. As you do your graduate work you may find some opportunities to use this as a case study for some of your classes.

Reviews

"The depth of your observations from last night is still resonating with me. I'm trying to think of another interview I've given where the questioner understood the material so well that he/she so regularly (and fluidly) went into new intellectual territory. I can't think of any. Pretty amazing. Thank you."
