Hi Terryl and thanks for having the time to cruise profiles and find me - I am humbled because even though I know I am missing a valuable resource I have not made the time. I would love to connect further - as I am struggling a bit with an international project that has lost its way.

Another set of eyes, ears and especially brains could help a lot right now - is there a number and a time I can call or perhaps we can Skype? I am in Ireland (dralana is my skype name) so I keep flexible afternoon hours for calls from folks in the US where it is morning.

I hope to hear this type of connection is of interest - it is my heartfelt belief that people on the ground will redesign education more to the needs of our young people - not our systems.

All the best,
Alana

I just joined. This a great site for someone with my background in educational communication and technology. I'm currently beta testing a similar site for social justice and diversity, it will go public in early March. Should be fun.

Reviews

"The depth of your observations from last night is still resonating with me. I'm trying to think of another interview I've given where the questioner understood the material so well that he/she so regularly (and fluidly) went into new intellectual territory. I can't think of any. Pretty amazing. Thank you."
