"The depth of your observations from last night is still resonating with me. I'm trying to think of another interview I've given where the questioner understood the material so well that he/she so regularly (and fluidly) went into new intellectual territory. I can't think of any. Pretty amazing. Thank you."

I apologize for not writing back sooner. If I don't respond to an email right away, it gets buried and waits until the next time I clean out my inbox. Well - that's what I'm doing today so I came across your note.
I'd be happy to keep in touch. Feel free to write any time.

PS I was only at Morris Park for 1 year and that was the year of the snowstorm. Very unforgettable ---
Thanks for writing and saying hello.
I was your teacher 20 or so years ago, when you were in 3rd grade. I looked at your photo and really couldn't picture you as a third grader. I'll look through old yearbooks when I get a chance to refresh my memory.
I still teach for Minneapolis Public Schools but I now teach 8th grade math. It took me 20 years but I'm almost in high school.
Are you in education or are you interested in the future of education? Did you get a good education in Minneapolis? Could we have done better? (I actually know the answer to that one.)
