Affect in Language Learning

Affect includes factors as self-esteem, extroversion, risk-taking, anxiety that seem far removed from language learning, but when we consider the pervasive nature of language, any factor can conceivably be relevant.

Nadia,

I'm producing a worldwide documentary project called One Day on Earth that I think might be up your alley. We are looking for school groups to take part in our project around the world. It would be great if you would be part of it.

Reviews

"The depth of your observations from last night is still resonating with me. I'm trying to think of another interview I've given where the questioner understood the material so well that he/she so regularly (and fluidly) went into new intellectual territory. I can't think of any. Pretty amazing. Thank you."
