The Future of Education

Charting the Course of Teaching and Learning in a Networked World

The convergence of digital media and traditional learning is dynamic, frentic and exciting.  Each of my nominations for the Edublog Awards is bridging the digital divide for educators, parents, and students.

One of the most influential people in the social media world and in education is Dr. Nora Barnes.  Her study working with her college students on the use of social media in Fortune 500 Business, non-profits and even in College admissions are all thought leading studies that speak to the fact that Social Media needs a prominent seat at the education table.

"The depth of your observations from last night is still resonating with me. I'm trying to think of another interview I've given where the questioner understood the material so well that he/she so regularly (and fluidly) went into new intellectual territory. I can't think of any. Pretty amazing. Thank you."
