Future of Education Conversations in Second Life?

Hey Steve, I haven't really looked into it but I will. I wonder if Elluminate can be streamed into Second Life. I could ring some doorbells to see if we could get sharing space at ISTE. Anyone at your end illuminated on that topic? Looking forward to those upcoming events, both of 'em, and glad they're scheduled in my evening, since I'm kneedeep into my new school year.

If it can't happen now, you might suggest this as a plug-in development notion for the Elluminate team, per the recent (yesterday's) announcement of a new plug-in development API and client from Linden Lab. Now that'd be cool, to couple Elluminate's presentation platform with SL's incredible sense of shared place and fun appeal (and backchat). If you don't get the Linden blog RSS let me know and I'll shuttle that announcement your way.Shucks, why wait? Here it is online, at Massively: http://www.massively.com/2009/08/16/linden-lab-s-tom-hale-announces...

I suppose as an interim practice we could organize SL events with folks having SL open in a second window, now, couldn't we?

Reviews

"The depth of your observations from last night is still resonating with me. I'm trying to think of another interview I've given where the questioner understood the material so well that he/she so regularly (and fluidly) went into new intellectual territory. I can't think of any. Pretty amazing. Thank you."
