Short Session Description: The effective use of images can play a big role in shaping our lessons and creating motivating activities for our learners.
Full Session Description: This practical session will share how I exploit some of my own images to create visually engaging materials for my students. I will be highlighting a few of my favourite image-editing tools and demonstrating how I use them in order to create fun activities both within the classroom and in an online environment.

Below is my favourite slide. It shows an example of students' writing, inspired by an image of an eye, I took recently. I have used fodey newspaper snippet for the effect.

Thanks for your comment here. I love using visuals whenever possible. I find students generally react well to them, as they promote creative thinking.
