nal products. This may have shifted as more interest has been generated. On the other hand, as green becomes more common, the price differential has started to disappear, becoming, in some cases equal. In other words the "green" has lost its perceived marginal benefit in the eye of consumers especially as more green products enter and compete with each other as well as conventional commodities.
Another issue is the perceived belief that buying green makes it OK to consume or consume more because the product is green, organic or energy efficient. It is a danger to the planet that promoting green makes consumption or increased consumption a valid idea.
Third, rural vs urban for production of goods seems to be a mis-direction. Food stuffs are different from manufactured goods, whether green, organic or conventional. Unfortunately, it is possible to meet fully certified organic products on large as well as small farms, and, perhaps even at lower cost because of scaling. The issue is far more complex in a market economy. As the above post points out, waving a "sustainable", green or other socially derived "flag" can only command an exclusive niche for a time before competitive forces change the nature of the markets.…

in time notes. Creating a background for every new page is time consuming and frankly rather annoying. I try to stay add visual interest in my lessons to take advantage of IWB technology.
Lesson plan galleries such as in prometheanplanet.com are great resources. Expanding this type of resource would be helpful.
Thanks for your efforts!…
are implying and the issues are not that simple. You mention experience. Well let me tell you how many people coast along as part of groups that are successful and yet they did very little to contribute to the group. It sounds as if you are in serious need of an anger management class.
Negative thinking and trashing people will not get you anywhere. It will possibly even get you relegated to the sidelines.
Change does not happen overnight. I find it curious that you work for homeland security and yet you speak of a CV. That is EU terminology. In USA we use resume's. So is this really about a hatred of the USA. If so, I want to know who hired you to sabotage our system?…
g to reach out to as many educators (teachers, administration, IT) that we can, hence this discussion (and the advice from Ric)! We want to learn more about your jobs and possibly how technology could be better leveraged to be more efficient (where can we save time) and more effective (possibly collaborative efforts)?
These are just a couple of ideas. So for the purposes of this thread, what is something that is overly time consuming and wish you could have automated OR what is the technology that you wish you had but have yet to find.
Some of the other ideas we were tossing around were:
Lesson plan creation and storage
Sharing of lesson plans, power points, resources
Easily create personalized quizzes and activities for students using existing templates
Any feedback or ideas would be much appreciated!…
