If You Want Them To Write, You Have To Let Them Write About What They Know!

Started Oct 5, 2012 0 Replies

I never saw myself as a writer.  During my school days, good work was read out loud to the class and the rest was marked up in red ink.  Once, as an adult, I wrote something that someone said I…Continue

Hi Jane,
I thought i would fill you in with a bit of my history. I turned 60 in December. I have been married for 30 years. My wife and I have 4 kids. I started teaching when I was 33 years old, and taught young adults for 17 years. In 2001 I received a Masters Degree in Distance Education and in 2002 I started an online tutoring company.

Over the past 8 years I have spent a lot of time learning how kids learn. I have written a couple of books and more importantly have arrived at some startling conclusions that are aligned with some of the major thinkers in education today.

I had replied to your comment earlier so thought I would add this and hope to continue the conversation when we both have time.
