I am a single parent of two daughters and should add the father of my children is around periodically, however very active and present in the past two years. I joined the active duty military (Army) when I was eighteen years of age. This is my twentieth year of service.
My primary duty while serving the military is in the field of logistics (unit supply specialist). The rank I hold currently is Sergeant First Class and people who serve in the military with me would address me as SFC Raven.
I have deployed three times and served in two additional overseas tours during my tenure. With that being mentioned I have been away quite a bit of my daughters growing up and they are now 16 and 17 years of age.
The topic I mentioned earlier means something to me and I would like to share my experiences.
