Mr. Siggard is a business professional with 25 years experience in organization leadership, growth, and change. Bringing his business expertise to the field of education, he encourages parents to become activists to encourage change and improvement at their local schools.
With many of America's schools failing (as evidenced by performance on international tests, the achievement gap, drop-out rates, etc.) and budget cuts causing causing massive teacher lay-offs, increased class sizes, and decreased services, programs, and class options, Mr. Siggard teaches parents how to bring the same level of scrutiny in assessing schools and teachers as they might bring to stock picking, for example. He helps parents perform due diligence on their child's school, asking the hard questions and demanding better from the school's leadership. It's time we get a better return on our investment in education.
Siggard also leads the ETRN - Education Transformation Resource Network, bringing services to schools that would otherwise be unaffordable, helping them to rapidly transform into schools of the future.
