If you want a healthy mouth cavity try to avoid artificial sugars that are present in tea, coffee, ice-creams and various kinds of sweet food stuffs. According to various reports sugar is the main cause of tooth decay in the United States because it fuels bacteria and acidity in your mouth leading to the development of plaque. These bacteria also eat away the enamel and root of the teeth making a cavity in them.

Eliminate soda from your diet plate- People say soda is fun but dentists and maxillofacial surgeons says it the enemy for those who want good mouth cavity and teeth. Two ingredients -- phosphoric acid and citric acid -- give soda it’s "bite" but also eat away at the surface of your teeth.
